Save Our Families kicked off our inaugural back-to-school supplies giveaway in August 2021. As a part of our mission to support education, equipping students with the tools to be successful in the classroom is vital. In 2021, Save Our Families hosted an event and joined two other community events, providing over 150 backpacks with school supplies. In August of 2022, we hosted our 2nd annual back-to-school providing over 80 families a total of 120 backpacks and nearly 650 books. The backpacks come with an activity book, notebook, folder, ruler, pens/pencils, eraser, glue, scissors, crayons, or colored pencils.
