Cleveland, Ohio, October 24, 2023,⎯Save Our Families’ annual Holiday Giveaway returns for our fourth year. While many members of our communities often struggle during this time of year, it’s our mission to ease that burden. Since 2020, Save Our Families has been able to help over 600 families put gifts under the tree as they create joyous memories. Our goal, with your help, is to provide 400 families with gifts for their children this holiday season.
We need your help with unwrapped gifts, gift cards, and monetary contributions. We also have a Walmart gift registry available. The toy drive begins in October and will last until December 15th. On Saturday, December 16th, the gift giveaway will be held at Corner of the Sky Books & Beyond, at 2151 Broadview Road in Cleveland, Ohio. The doors will open from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Please note that this event requires pre-registration; walk-ins are accepted on a limited basis. Registration will close once we’ve reached capacity. Gifts will be passed out on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Ways to Get Involved:
Make a Difference with Donations: We encourage businesses and individuals to contribute to our cause. Your generous donations can help make this holiday season magical for children who need it the most. You can directly impact by visiting our Amazon and Walmart wishlists, where carefully selected gifts are waiting to brighten a child’s day.
Register Your Child: Parents, guardians, and caregivers are welcome to sign up their children for a special holiday gift. Let us come together to bring smiles to the faces of our little ones.
Spread the Word: Ask people to share information about the event on their social media profiles, websites, and through word-of-mouth. Increasing awareness can lead to more donations and child registrations.
Volunteer: Encourage community members to volunteer their time and skills to help organize and run the event. Volunteers can assist with gift distribution, event setup, managing registration, and more.
